Get a job with benefits?

Get a job with benefits? Having a job with health benefits will be invaluable if you or your child has unexpected medical issues down the road. In addition, some health care plans offered through an employer will cover holistic health care, preventative care, psychological care, chiropractic care, and even massage if it’s recommended by a doctor or chiropractor. Some of your friends whose careers don’t offer health benefits might have a generally more exciting day-to-day life, but do they get free massages? Ask about the benefits package with any job you apply for. You might strike gold.

However, if insurance is not available through your employer, having insurance may be an expense that never pays for itself. Sometimes infirm people will find that their insurance does not cover what they need in order to stay healthy or even alive! This is a huge problem, and was recently addressed in the Michael Moore Film, Sicko.

Thankfully, some states have medical care for children whose parents make too much money to qualify for Medicaid but not enough for medical care, and some have insurance for pregnant women. Do your research and find out what is available in your area. Here’s some help!
